Reiki treatment can benefit anyone who is physically tired, emotionally stressed out, and possibly suffering from pain or disease. This type of therapy works well with traditional medicine and can even speed up the process of healing. Reiki is a Japanese technique, where the practitioner places their hands as a channel for life energy to move and open negative energy that needs to be healed. Reiki can never harm you and is not a religion. Reiki can awaken the life force to shift negative thoughts and feelings and create freedom within new areas of the mind and body.
What to expect during my first treatment? Paper work regarding liability and a medical form will either be sent by e-mail or done before the session. For all private sessions, a client must arrive five minutes early, and there is a 24-hour cancellation policy. The first few minutes we will discuss the reason for the session. The more open a client is regarding problems the more aware the practitioner can be to tuning into them. Also, setting an intention before the session helps direct the energy work and allows the universe to provide what the person needs for healing. The client will lie on the table, with clothing on, and will express whether they prefer to be touched or not during the Reiki session. Some people enjoy the warmth of the hands, but others would rather not be touched. Either method will work. It is important to express when something doesn’t feel right or if you are light-headed at the end of the session. Letting the Reiki Practitioner know this will allow them to ground you again before leaving the session and driving home.
Distant Healing? Reiki Level Two practitioners are trained to be able to do distant healing on a person or animal. With the permission of the person and the details of the time/day, a healing session can take place. We all have divine teachers, but some of them live in other states. Reiki for Animals? In our experience, we find faster results with home visits so the animal feels safer, and we also are willing to teach the owner how to utilize their Reiki energy so the animal can heal faster. Prices vary depending upon location and time. Call to discuss the possibilities.
